1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Tagback (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time, and continued use constitutes acceptance.

2. Description of Service

Tagback provides QR code-based tags that enable finders to contact the owner of a tagged item, pet, or person. The service includes tag creation, QR code generation, notification delivery, and secure messaging between finders and owners.

3. Account Responsibilities

  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You must provide accurate and truthful information on your tags
  • You may not use the service for illegal or harmful purposes
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use Tagback to track people without their knowledge or consent
  • Submit false, misleading, or harmful information on tags
  • Spam, harass, or abuse the finder messaging system
  • Attempt to circumvent security features or rate limits
  • Use the service to facilitate any illegal activity
  • Reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the service

5. Tag Content

You retain ownership of all content you submit (descriptions, photos, medical information). By creating a tag, you grant Tagback a license to display this content to finders who scan your QR code. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of your tag content.

6. Service Availability

We strive to keep Tagback available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service with reasonable notice. We are not liable for any loss resulting from service interruptions.

7. Limitation of Liability

Tagback is provided “as is” without warranty. We are not responsible for the actions of finders or tag owners. We do not guarantee the return of lost items, pets, or people. Our liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the service in the preceding 12 months.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app. Upon termination, your tags will be deactivated and your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy.
